Elevation Community School’s prescribed dress and personal appearance is meant to promote modesty, respect, cleanliness, be appropriate, and reflect a standard of excellence. Wearing uniform is required and will promote easier morning routine where the child knows what to wear each day without putting much thought into it. Uniforms may be purchased at any store. Below are the color and style requirements:
Uniform colors are: White, Khaki, Navy, and Black

Tops must be a polo or dress shirt with a collar and must be buttoned up with top button optional. All shirts must have sleeves (short or long). Tank tops are not allowed. No crop tops or off-shoulder tops. Dresses may be any uniform color and must be an actual uniform dress.
Sweaters or blazers may be any uniform color. A v-neck, button-up, zip-up, or a crew neck is required (no hoodies).
Bottoms must be black, navy, or khaki (pants or shorts for boys, skirt, shorts, or pants for girls). No Denim.
For girls: Tight-fitting pants (leggings or yoga pants) are not allowed unless worn under a skirt or dress for girls in grades 5-8. Please ensure that dresses and skirts are knee-length, and that they are worn with biker shorts or tights/leggings underneath. Tights/leggings must be uniform colors only.
Shoes MUST be closed-toe shoes with socks. This will protect the child’s feet on the playground.
If a student comes to school in inappropriate clothing, an alert will be sent home. First time dress code violators will be given mercy and may be required to wear an oversized art shirt over the current outfit. A notice will be sent home to make you aware. After the third notice for the same violation, the student may not return to school until the problem is resolved (hair cut, fingernails cleaned, socks/shoes appropriate, etc).
For uniform-free days, please ensure that shorts/skirts/dresses pass the fingertip test. Crop tops, and/or sleeveless tops are not allowed.
