Program Details

Core Curriculum

For our Math and Language Arts classes, we will be using the BJU curriculum. With a Biblical worldview, academic rigor, and critical thinking – this is the perfect program for a well-rounded education. On the two days of homeschooling, you will have access to the lesson plans online and will complete one sheet for math, and a couple sheets for LA per day (average is an hour per day).

Science/History Curriculum

For our Science, History, And Geography classes, we will be using the literature-based Sonlight curriculum. Instead of learning History and Science from a one-size-fits-all textbook – this curriculum introduces important dates and facts from a variety of award-winning books and lab kits. This encourages children to be genuinely intrigued by facts.

Electives Program

We plan to have Music, Physical Education, Art, and Forest Classes every week. With art, we plan to introduce various art medias and allow children to be creative with provided ideas. For music, the first semester we will focus on reading notes and choir vocals. For Physical Education, we will focus on movement, as well as a chosen sport for that semester (soccer, basketball, etc).

Small Class Sizes

Inspired by Maria Montessori’s educational philosophy, we are proud to provide multi-aged classrooms for our students. This unique blend of ages creates a life-like environment where children aren’t only surrounded by same-age peers but are challenged to work in groups of older and younger peers. It also allows the older students to “teach” and help the younger ones – and in turn, reaffirming what they had learned. Our teachers are highly trained in challenging each student depending on their educational level and each student will have grade-specific worksheets.
