Elevation Community School Started Because of a Need

After Yar and Nina moved to North Jacksonville, they realized that there was a gap in learning options. On one hand, there were many public and charter schools, and on the other, there were plenty of full-time private schools. However, there weren’t any other options. Being homeschool parents themselves, they didn’t want to commit to a 5-day school schedule for their children. This is when the idea of a hybrid school came to mind. A program that would support homeschool families. A program that would align with the family’s values and would empower the parents to keep doing what they’re doing to raise their children in the Lord, while also partnering in that process. Elevation can be categorized as a hybrid school, a homeschool drop-off co-op, and a microschool all at the same time. With no more than 10 students per class, each child gets individualized attention and support from like-minded teachers who pray over their students daily. Below, you can see our founding team and teachers.
